The Dream That Started It All
When we first released Horizons, we didn’t know what would happen.
We only knew what we felt.
We felt like dreamers.
We felt like there was a future just waiting beyond the next sunrise,
If we just ran hard enough, believed deeply enough, loved bravely enough.
Horizons was our love letter to wonder—to the idea that somewhere, just beyond the edge of the known world, something beautiful was waiting.
And now, as we move forward, as the soundscape begins to shift and a new chapter begins to stir beneath the surface…
It feels right to take a moment.
To look back.
To reflect.
Because before you can move forward, you have to understand what you’re leaving behind.
What Horizons Meant to Us
Ayesha: “Horizons wasn’t just an album about space and dreams. It was about hope—about believing that we were meant for something bigger than our circumstances.”
There’s a rawness to Horizons that we still feel proud of.
It wasn’t cynical. It wasn’t complicated.
It was pure longing, stretched out over synths and soaring melodies.
Songs like:
- Endless Horizon – that restless, aching need to find a place you hadn’t even seen yet.
- Timeless Love – the belief that love could defy time and space.
- Strange New Worlds – the thrill of setting out with no map, just trust in the unknown.
It was an album unburdened by defeat, written by two people who genuinely believed in the beauty of dreams.
The Echoes We Still Carry
Even though we’re heading into new territory now—new sounds, new ideas—the heart of Horizons will always stay with us.
It’s like starlight from a distant galaxy:
By the time you see it, it’s already ancient—but it still burns.
Michael: “Every time we write something new, I can still feel Horizons underneath it all. The belief that music should make you feel like you’re part of something bigger. Like you’re not alone.”
You’ll hear that echo in Starlit Reflections too.
Even though it’s a quieter, sadder song, it’s still about connection—about the memories that linger long after a journey ends.
It’s a reminder that every step forward is shaped by every step we took before.
Moving Forward Without Forgetting
It’s tempting sometimes to bury the past. To chase the next thing without ever looking back.
But that’s not who we are.
We believe that you have to honour the roads that brought you here.
You have to thank the dreams you once held, even if you’ve outgrown them.
You have to remember the people you were, even if you’re not those people anymore.
Because all those pieces—the hope, the longing, the wide-eyed wonder—they’re not just parts of our past.
They’re the foundation of everything we’re building next.
Horizons isn’t gone.
It’s just changed.
Evolved.
And in its reflection, we see the dream still burning—just shaped now by everything we’ve learned, everything we’ve lost, and everything we’re still fighting for.
Thank You for Dreaming With Us
Ayesha: “If you ever listened to Horizons late at night and felt like you could touch the stars—thank you. You were part of that dream too.”
The journey is far from over.
If anything, it’s only just beginning.
New sounds are coming. New fires are being lit.
But before we take the next leap—
We just wanted to say:
Thank you for chasing the horizon with us.
Thank you for dreaming alongside us.
Thank you for helping us believe that no dream is ever truly lost.
We move forward together.
Always.
